I am an evolutionary ecologist at heart. My interests lie in the evolution of animal communication signals under variable environmental conditions. I am particularly interested in visual ecology and the effects of light environment on behavioural decision making and sexual/natural selection.
I am currently working with freshwater fish to determine how manipulating the environmental parameters alters vision, mate choice and colour communication through sensory drive.
